Guides for Web Operations
Products, promos, email; a weekly SEO & GEO health check, and how AI answers about your category
For this position
Connect your Shopify store
In Settings → Account connections, click Connect Shopify and approve the install with the store owner account. No developer app or API keys needed.
The Google connections
Gmail, GA4, Search Console and Google Ads authorize through your own Google Cloud project; YouTube needs just an API key; Google Alerts is free, delivered via RSS.
Email marketing and shipment tracking
Klaviyo, Shopify Email, AfterShip and 17TRACK don't make real API calls yet. The Klaviyo and AfterShip read-only key forms are ready; panels say not connected.
Search data APIs
In Settings → Data sources → Search data, choose official (credits per call, failures free), your own provider key (no credits), or off.
AI answer tracking
Each week the SEO & GEO duty asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews your buyers' questions and tracks mentions, rank and citations against competitors.
Site health: can AI read your store?
A read-only weekly check — can AI crawlers get in, do prices and stock show without JavaScript, does product info match everywhere, are you ready for ChatGPT shopping.
Pre-publish check: sources, market versions, AI citations
Content & Blog checks every post before publishing — sources, market versions and how well AI can cite it. Failures stay drafts with the exact sentence flagged; publishing always needs your click.
Editorial calendar: topic clusters, backlinks, llms.txt, social drafts
SEO & GEO groups keywords into topic clusters by their search results; you approve one card and the whole cluster fills the editorial calendar at 2 posts a day, handed to Content & Blog on the day. Backlinks get a monthly check with gaps sent to PR, Shopify's built-in llms.txt is used as is (one is generated for the site builder only when missing or when you want your own), and published posts can be drafted into social posts in one click.
Everyone needs these
Agents Workshop models and credits
Link an Agents Workshop account to use models without keys, paid in credits (1 credit = ¥1, US$1 buys 7). New accounts get 5 credits; your own keys cost nothing.
Connect DeepSeek (account sign-in / API key)
Sign in once with your DeepSeek account (recommended, no key, paid from your balance) or paste an API key from the DeepSeek platform. Cheap and a good default.
Connect an OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible service (Kimi, Ollama, Claude relays…)
Connect Kimi, Qwen, Zhipu, local Ollama or any OpenAI-format service with a base URL and a key, using a vision model. Claude relays use the Anthropic-compatible card.
Connect Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (which plan)
One Model Studio key calls both Qwen and DeepSeek. Pick the plan you bought — Token Plan, pay as you go or Coding Plan; keys and addresses don't cross over.
Connect OpenAI / a ChatGPT subscription
Sign in with the ChatGPT Plus / Pro subscription you already pay for via a device code (personal setup only), or use an API key from platform.openai.com.
Connect Anthropic / a Claude subscription
Sign in with the Claude Pro / Max subscription you already pay for (personal setup only), or create an API key at console.anthropic.com and pay per use.
Connect Google Gemini
Create an API key in Google AI Studio and add it to the Google Gemini card — Gemini for text, Nano Banana 2.1 for images. Billed by Google, no credits used.
Message channels: WeChat, WeCom, Feishu and DingTalk
WeChat is a private line to your own assistant; WeCom, Feishu and DingTalk bots serve your team. Decisions are always made in the workstation, never in the chat app.
Install and set up ego
Install ego first. Get it from its download page, open it once and finish the first-run steps; the app detects it and uses it by default. Sign in to the sites you post on inside ego, and click “Block” the first time a site asks to show notifications.
How the app uses ego to post, reply and find creators
With ego installed, approved posts and replies are filled in ego and sent by the app, which reads the link back and logs it. Turn on “Let me check before it sends” on a position to send them yourself. If ego can't send, it goes to the extension; if a site shows a captcha, the app stops and tells you.
Let AI operate this computer
Off by default. Turn it on in Settings → Web & computer → Computer use, tick the allowed duties, and approve a card before each run. It stops at logins and payments.
Feishu bot: create the app, turn on long connection, get credentials
Create a Feishu custom app with a bot, enter its App ID and Secret in Settings → Chat channels, then turn on long connection and release it. No public URL needed.
DingTalk bot: create the app, turn on Stream, get credentials
Create an internal DingTalk app with a Stream-mode robot, enter its Client ID and Secret in Settings → Chat channels, and have each colleague link once.
Switching scenes
Click your name at the bottom left → Scenes, pick one and click Open. The full DeepSeek Harness ships with the installer, so other scenes need no extra install.
Archiving and finding chats and tasks
Chats and tasks archive after 3 quiet days by default (1–30 days or never in Settings), and nothing is deleted. Restore from Archived, search with ⌘K, or ask AI.
Installing and updating
Download for Windows or Apple-silicon Macs at agentsws.com/download. It checks for updates itself — one click on Windows, a new .dmg on Mac. Your data stays.
Sent log, and writing it into your own sheet
Everything Agents Workshop sends is logged automatically in the Sent log panel and can be exported as CSV. Say one line to also write it into your own online sheet.
Assistant: chat, or hand things off
Assistant, at the top of the sidebar, chats, checks what every position is doing and hands tasks to the right one. It never changes anything external on its own.
Workshop services: have people get it done
Spend credits to have the Workshop team get things done, like site builds or press pieces. Credits sit in escrow until you accept; ask for changes or a refund if needed.
